A Prayer for Monday

Jesus,

As the sun comes up today,
may we see you reflected in it.
May the radiance of your light
dance around our heads.
May we be enamored by the brilliance
of a new day, bursting forth with life.

As we breathe air into our lungs,
help us to remember it is your
Spirit who animates us.
As the wind rustles around us,
help us to hear the whisper of your love.

As the birds fill the air with song,
you, too, rejoice over us with singing.

May we be full of wonder at all
of the ways you reveal yourself to us.
May we step into this new day,
certain that we are not alone.

Amen.

Have a great week - Melissa
