A Prayer for Monday

Jesus, 
You know what I am carrying into this day, 
     would you carry it with me and lighten the load?

The weight of it all feels like too much 
     when I try to shoulder it on my own. 

You carrying the weight with me 
     does not take away the challenges, 
     but it does allow my shoulders a rest. 

Thank you for staying close. 
Thank you for loving me.
